Q&A

Do I need a car ?

Once at the apartment there is a good argument for not requiring a car at all. The main lift is right opposite providing access to all the tree-lined skiing form this point. That said, skiing around the Chamonix Valley is extensive and resorts such as Megeve , La Tour , Brevant and Flegere are all within a short drive.

Should you prefer, there is a free ski bus with regular trips taking you around the Mont- Blanc area, which stops directly outside the apartment.

Restaurants and Bars ?

Within 20 seconds of the apartment you have 3 restaurants serving Italian gormet , French and good old fashioned Pizza ! Head the other way and a few minutes later there are now several new restaurants offering fusion cuisine and more French cuisine.

Should the 20 second stroll be all to much, we now have a simply fantastic deli on the ground floor next to ESF offering the most beautiful meats, breads, cheeses, wines, pate’s etc.. Feasting yourself on these delicacies just for one night with a few bottles of local wine really must be tried and on days when your legs have simply given up on you what better way to finish of the evening!!

We would suggest that you do at least pop into Chamonix town itself so that you can soak up some of the après-ski and also indulge in some of France’s most exquisite eateries ! The town has a fantastic atmosphere with umpteen bars and restaurants to choose between and with the free ski bus leaving from outside the front door and dropping you in the center of Chamonix it means that all can relax without any arguments over who is driving home!!
